Product Information

Hand scraped vintage engineered oak flooring has a unique look and feel that will add a depth and warmth to any room in your home or venue.

Hand scraped vintage engineered oak flooring is 15mm thick, made up from 11mm high quality Eucalyptus plywood which is bonded to a full 4mm of French Oak wear layer. The width of this flooring is 189mm single strip oak, which is shown off to beautiful effect with the extra width that is available to you when ordering our engineered oak flooring.

The 11mm thick Eucalyptus plywood will provide your engineered oak flooring with excellent strength and stabilityafter installation, and the 4mm wear layer of solid oak will be very durable and provide a long life for your oak floor.

Hand scraped vintage engineered oak flooring is scraped by hand, giving a beautifully textured and uneven surface to the flooring, which replicates how oak flooring used to be produced and finished in days gone by. This gives true character and uniqueness to your flooring.

The grain of the hand scraped vintage oak appears slightly darker, which enhances the character of the flooring when installed, and emphasises the unique features that natural oak has. Finished with a dark coloured stain and then lacquered for a durable finish, hand scraped vintage flooring has a very consistent colour, with dark tones that are warm and welcoming. The lacquer gives a smooth, satin finish to the floor which reflects light beautifully.

Our hand scraped vintage engineered oak flooring is also suitable for under floor heating, and you can find full details of how under floor heating works and the requirements for installation by clicking here.

This flooring looks stunning all year round, creating warmth and depth in the winter months and reflecting light and creating a more spacious looking area during the summer months. If you are looking for a floor that is going to add warmth and depth to your home, hand scraped vintage engineered oak flooring is for you.
